Choose from different types of hemp bagging equipment that automatically weigh and fill pouches, bags, and bulk bags with different types of hemp. These packaging machines are used for filling bags with many different types of hemp including hemp seeds, hemp hearts, shelled hemp, hulled hemp seeds, hemp flowers, and leaves.
Fill small pouches and boxes that weigh 1 – 16 ounces, large open mouth poly bags that weigh 10 – 50 pounds, or bulk bags that weigh up to 4,400 pounds. All hemp bagging equipment has an accuracy of +/- 0.5-1% of target weight and can operate at different bagging speeds.
Financing options are available.
Bag band sealers can automatically vacuum seal poly lined small pouches and bags for retail sale in stores and for online sales. Larger, 10-50 pound open mouth bag sealers for wholesale can be sealed on a conveyor using a hot air bag sealer and then palletized using a robotic palletizer.
Hemp Bagging Equipment for Small Bags: 600-800 fills per hour
For smaller retail stores and businesses looking to bag and package hemp into smaller pouches and gusseted bags, we recommend the semi-automatic Logical Machines S-4. It automatically weighs and fills pouches, small bags, and boxes at speeds around 600-800 fills per hour. For vacuum sealing and nitrogen flushing packaged hemp products, we recommend the entry-level Plexpack Vacpack Vacuum Sealer. For faster filling and sealing speeds, we can also recommend a number of fully automatic hemp packaging systems that are small enough to fit at a retail store location, farm, or warehouse. All options work with free-flowing hemp seeds, hearts, etc.
Hemp Bagging Equipment for 10-50 pound Bags: Fill 1-24 Bags per Minute
For packaging hemp into larger 10-50 pound bags for wholesale, we recommend using a net weigh bag filler that can fill a variety of open mouth bags. This machine automatically fills a hopper, while a bag is on the spout and being filled below, thus providing a much faster fill rate of up to 24 bags per minute. For an entry-level wholesale hemp packaging machine with fill rates of 1-8 bags per minute, we recommend a digital gravity gross weigh filler.
For packaging hemp flowers, chopped fibers, and stalks we recommend using a gross weigh belt fed bagger.
Once the bag is filled, it is placed on a sealing conveyor, where it is moved through a bag sealer. Fixed bag sealers on conveyors usually seal bags shut at rates up to 20 bags per minute.
After sealing, the packaged hemp is conveyed to a palletizing station, where a robotic palletizer or operator uniformly stacks the bags on a pallet for shipping. From there, the pallets are moved through a pallet stretch wrapper and onto storage or shipping.
