This automatic bag filling and palletizing robot places empty bags on the bagging machine’s fill spout and palletizes the bags after filling.
Process Description
An empty bag magazine presents a valve type bag to a Fanuc robotic arm outfitted with a specialized end-of-arm tool that has a gripper for empty bags. After a fill cycle, the robot places an empty bag on the valve bag filling machine’s fill spout. While the empty bag is being filled, it swings around counterclockwise about 270 degrees to pick up a filled valve bag from a robot pick conveyor. Then, the robot palletizes the filled bag on a pallet resting nearby in the bag stack zone. After palletizing, the robot swings back around clockwise to pick up another empty bag to start the bag filling and palletizing cycle over again until the pallet has been completely stacked.
