This material transfer system loads and unloads plastic scrap in bulk bags and boxes for recycling. The custom manufactured components included (3) bulk bag unloaders with vibratory agitation, (2) bulk bag filling machines (shown in picture), and (1) bulk box loader. After competitive testing, the bulk bag filling machines proved to be the only ones capable of effectively transferring the large, interlocking shreds of plastic scrap into bulk bags.
The system was also custom designed to interface with the customer’s air conveying system, process, and transport system, incorporating air receivers and grate magnets above the load out areas. It also included all the structural frames for the cyclone air receivers, platforms, stairways, and walkways.
These machines provided an immediate return on the customer’s investment. With equipment operating at capacity, the vibrating tables delivered as much as 15% more product into the reusable bulk boxes. As a result, immediate costs savings were achieved by reducing container consumption and freight costs.
