A large ceramic clay producer replaced 12 round screens with (1) single linear motion screen. The producer was using 12 round screens that were processing 25 MTPH in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The new screen, equipped with sandwich screens, processed 25 MTPH of clay product in only 15 minutes! It was also able to achieve 0% +180 micron particles in the undersize product. Production and quality were dramatically increased and costs were lowered. The new screen also had a much smaller footprint, extended screen panel life, reduced labor costs, and lowered maintenance requirements.
