Bulk Bag Equipment to Unload Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate

Bulk bag equipment to unload Titanium Dioxide (TiO2)  & Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) and fill 5 pound plastic bags.  The Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate were used as additives in a rubber compounding system.

TiO2 and CaCO3 arrives in 2000 pound bulk bags. The bulk bags are loaded into a bulk bag equipment and unloading station. Below the unloading station is vibratory hopper that draws the material out of the bulk bag and into the packaging hopper.

Material is metered out of the surge hopper into the preformed plastic bag which is secured on a bag clamp.

The bag clamp and the plastic bag are on a digital platform scale. The scale controller starts and stops the flow of material into the plastic bag.

Bag weight is plus or minus 2 oz.

Control system manages the vibratory hopper, flow aid paddles in the surge hopper, and the filling of the plastic bags.
